Brussels U10 Girls hit the diamond for their very first competition play this past weekend in the Exeter Tournament. Not only battling first game jitters, these hard working ladies had to content with record breaking hot temperatures. Although unable to earn a win in the tournament, the girls learned lots and put their developing skills to work in four games over Friday and Saturday.  Pitching for the very first time in competition play and logging many strike outs were Adel Fischer, Claira Olson, Jesa Fischer and Mackenzie Gingrich.  Hot at bats were seen by Bridget McCallum and Claira Olson. Coaches Coral, Mark & Ty were quite proud of this team, as no matter the score and heat, the girls kept cheering each other on. Pictured here is Claira Olson pitching.
